She began her artistic journey apprenticing in sandblasting, honed her craft at the Pilchuck Glass School, and later earned a BFA in Glass from the University of Hawai‘i.
For more than 20 years, Heather has explored the expressive potential of glass, often describing it as a medium that, like water, is fluid, versatile, and luminous when touched by light.
