Internationally acclaimed for her work as a makeup artist in film and television, Danielle Rush brings over two decades of creative mastery to her evolving fine art practice. With credits on iconic productions such as Bones, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Danielle’s artistry has earned a Guild Award for Best Makeup and multiple Emmy nominations.
Since relocating to Oahu with her husband and two daughters, Danielle has channeled her passion for makeup, photography, and painting into a distinctive artistic expression she calls Illuminated ART Hawaii™. This signature style merges light, color, and visual storytelling to reflect the warmth and vibrancy of island life — a true embodiment of the Aloha spirit.
Danielle’s work has been featured in juried exhibitions across Hawaii and internationally, including a 2024 showcase at the Hankyu Umeda Gallery in Osaka, Japan. Locally, she was recognized with the People’s Choice Kokua Award and has served as the resident artist at The Twin Fin Hotel since 2022, where her on-site studio continues to engage both locals and visitors.
