This original framed watercolor balances architectural precision with the organic fluidity of watercolor, conveying both the grandeur and the gentle nostalgia of old Hawaiʻi. Each brushstroke feels alive, echoing the warmth, motion, and aloha spirit that define island living.
Dwayne Adams is a Kailua-based watercolor artist whose career bridges the disciplines of art and design. Painting both plein air and in his Kailua studio, Adams finds inspiration in Hawaiʻi’s natural landscapes, historic architecture, and everyday moments. He is a member of the Hawaiʻi Watercolor Society, a former Signature Member of the Alaska Watercolor Society, and has exhibited award-winning works throughout Hawaiʻi, Alaska, and Colorado.
