Eduardo Bolioli, a Uruguayan-born artist, has had a dynamic career spanning multiple decades and countries. After studying at the School of Visual Arts in New York, he moved to Honolulu in the 1980s, where he painted surfboards for professional surfers and worked as an art director for local surf brands. His distinctive style led him to create iconic concert posters for artists like Miles Davis and Aerosmith, and he was recognized by Absolut Vodka, becoming their Absolut Hawai’i artist in 1991. Bolioli’s work was featured in major publications and he was commissioned to create pieces for international campaigns, including Absolut Uruguay.

Following a brief hiatus to focus on family, Bolioli returned to Honolulu in 2014, reigniting his passion for painting. Over the years, he’s garnered multiple awards, including the Aloha Award and the Premios a la Cultura Golden Award. His work has been displayed in galleries across the world, from New York to Tokyo, and is part of the Absolut Museum collection in Sweden.
