Michael S. K. Lee was born and raised in Hawaii and has loved to draw and paint for as long as he can remember. He was fortunate to have parents who were supportive and encouraged him to pursue his passion for art. Michael graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in drawing.He has been blessed to be able to make painting his life’s work for the last forty years. As both a nature and an animal lover, Michael Lee’s subjects range from exqui- sitely beautiful Hawaiian scenery and flowers to whimsi- cal cats and dogs. He works in varied mediums including palette knife acrylics, watercolors, and a unique style of painting on ceramics which results in art that is as beauti- ful as it is functional. Michael hopes that you enjoy his artwork as much as he enjoys creating it.
