About the Artist
Carol Collette is an internationally acclaimed artist known for her original etchings, engravings, and paintings. Her work is exhibited in galleries across the United States and Japan and is held in numerous private and corporate collections. For over 40 years, her art has been widely collected and admired.
After studying at the Ontario College of Art and Design, Carol began her career in Quebec City as a fashion illustrator. A formative trip through Europe introduced her to the art of etching—a medium she would go on to master, initially depicting New England landscapes enhanced with watercolor.
For the past 25 years, Carol has lived in Hawaiʻi, where she draws daily inspiration from the natural and cultural surroundings—coastal views, tropical flora, and scenes of local life. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for the islands, often capturing moments of quiet beauty and connection.
