Honolulu-born David Chung is the son of a cabinetmaker, and he grew up in a shop environment. He worked as an architect from 1973-2010. In 2002, he obtained a lathe and there was no turning back. Self-taught as a woodturner, what was a weekend pursuit of his acquired passion has become a full time undertaking. He creates beautiful wooden bowls, music boxes, clocks, peppermills, and more.
