Bev Creamer is a journalist, writer and jewelry artisan. Her one-of-a-kind necklaces and bracelets are constructed from beads, semi-precious stones and other items collected from around the world and at home in Hawaii. A story of discovery goes with almost every piece. Creamer began making bead necklaces as a project with her two daughters when they were young. The scope of materials used and styles explored continues to expand today. The artist lives and works in Lanikai. Her husband, Jerry Burris, is a retired editor of the editorial pages for the Honolulu Advertiser. She has two children, Jennifer, a professor and art curator, and Erin, a teacher specializing in teaching to the hearing–impaired.
